Santiago Ponzinibbio Wants To Handle Issues With Kamaru Usman

Santiago Ponzinibbio and Kamaru Usman were supposed to meet in the main event of UFC Fight Night Chile, but Ponzinibbio suffered an injury and was forced to withdrawal from the card.

Demian Maia wound up replacing Ponzinibbio in the bout, but Usman would still pull out a unanimous decision victory in the end.

Ponzinibbio believes he has some issues to handle with Usman and the fighter wants to get those problems resolved.

The fighter made those feelings known via Instagram:

 

Usman has since gone onto win the UFC Welterweight Title, defeating Tyron Woodley by unanimous decision in the co-main event of UFC 235. Ponzinibbio has since gone onto defeat Neil Magny by fourth round knockout at UFC Fight Night Buenos Aires.

There has been no response from Usman at this time, as he is expected to defend the title against former UFC Interim Welterweight Champion Colby Covington next.
