September ESPN Card To Feature Two Featherweight World Title Fights

ESPN is set to broadcast a major Top Rank boxing card later in September.

According to a report on RingTV.com, the September 22 ESPN card will take place in Tucson, Arizona, making it the fourth Top Rank boxing card to be broadcasted on ESPN.

Unranked UFC Fighters to Watch out for in 2024

The two feature fights on that card are Oscar Valdez, ranked the sixth-best featherweight on Fightful's official boxing rankings, defending his WBO featherweight title against Genesis Servania and Gilberto Ramirez, the No. 2 super middleweight on the Fightful rankings, defending his WBO super middleweight title against Jesse Hart.

The last time both fighters fought, they were fighting on a Top Rank-produced pay-per-view that saw Valdez and Ramirez defeat Miguel Marriaga and Max Bursak, respectively.

Servania has won all 29 of his fights as a pro, winning the vacant WBO Asia Pacific featherweight title in April when he stopped Ralph Jhon Lulu in the second round.

Hart, the current WBO-NABO and USBA super middleweight champion, is also undefeated as a pro boxer, winning all 22 fights with 18 knockouts.

Top Rank's partnership with ESPN started off with a boom, with the Manny Pacquiao vs. Jeff Horn drawing more than three million viewers across the ESPN family of networks and even peaking at more than four million viewers for the last half hour of the main event.
