ShoBox 6/21/2019 Results: Sebastian Fundora Picks Up Quick Win In Main Event

One of boxing's most unique prospects picks up another impressive win, this time in the main event of a card televised on Showtime.

Sebastian Fundora, dubbed the tallest junior middleweight in history standing at more than 6'5", defeated Hector Manuel Zepeda after Zepeda's corner stopped the fight at the conclusion of the fourth round. The fight saw Fundora dominate Zepeda throughout the four rounds contested and even hurt Zepeda in the fourth with a straight left hand. Zepeda never went down or was seriously hurt, but his corner believed that his fighter was done for the night and stopped the fight.

Fundora's record now improves to 13-0 and has now won his last five bouts from inside the distance. Fundora made waves this past February when he won a fight on the FS1 prelim card for Leo Santa Cruz's win over Rafael Rivera by knocking out previously-unbeaten top prospect Donnie Marshall.
