Shogun vs. OSP Rematch Headlining UFC Fight Night: Japan

A light heavyweight division rematch is going to be headlining UFC Fight Night: Japan as #5 Mauricio Rua looks for revenge against #7 Ovince St. Preux.

Rua (25-10-0) lost the first encounter to OSP at UFC Fight Night: 56, that loss came by way of first round knockout. Rua has gone undefeated since that loss to OSP, having defeated the trio of Antonio Rogerio Nogueira, Gian Villante and Corey Anderson. Rua is a former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion, beating Lyoto Machida at UFC 113 to win the gold.

St. Preux (20-10-0) has won just one of his last four under the UFC banner, with that lone win coming over Marcos Rogerio De Lima at UFC Fight Night 108. St. Preux is also going to be looking to put his first winning streak together in over two years, but his last streak lasted for only two fights.

UFC Fight Night: Japan takes place on Saturday, September 23 from the Saitama Super Arena in Saitama, Japan with Mauricio Rua and Ovince St. Preux headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the eventm which airs live on Fox Sports 1.
