Sijara Eubanks Unleashes Wrath On UFC After Losing Title Shot

MMA

Sijara Eubanks and Valentina Shevchenko were all set to clash for the vacant UFC Women’s Flyweight Title in the main event of UFC 230.

However, a switch was pulled by the promotion, who opted to instead have Daniel Cormier defend the UFC Heavyweight Title against Derrick Lewis in the main event of the show.

To make the situation worse for Eubanks, another move was made by the promotional brass to have Shevchenko fight former UFC Women’s Strawweight Champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk for the gold in the co-main event of UFC 231.

Eubanks would then take to Twitter to unleash some hate towards the UFC for the lost opportunities.

Things would start off with a tweet that has since been deleted, where Eubanks said:

“@danawhite @Mickmaynard2 buncha fuckin cowards!! You pull me from this thing and you’ll regret it!”

The UFC still kept Eubanks on the card, as she will now face Roxanne Modafferi at the event, although its exact placement on the card has yet to be determined.

UFC 230 takes place on Saturday, November 3 from Madison Square Garden in New York, New York with Daniel Cormier and Derrick Lewis headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, with a post-show podcast to follow.
