Top ten-ranked bantamweights, Song Yadong and Ricky Simón are scheduled to meet at a yet-to-be-announced UFC Fight Night event on April 22.
Eurosport's Marcel Dorff was the first to report the news of the matchup being in the works via a tweet on Friday, although the promotion itself has yet to officially confirm anything regarding the event or bout. Yadong is 3-1 in his last four fights and will try to rebound from a fourth-round TKO loss to former interim UFC title challenger, Cory Sandhagen, back at UFC Vegas 60 last September. Simón meanwhile is currently riding a five-fight winning streak and is coming off a second-round submission victory over Jack Shore at UFC on ABC 3 this past July.
