Stephen Thompson's style has flustered virtually the entire UFC Welterweight division. He thinks UFC 205 will be no different.
“I don’t think he’s ready, to be honest with you,” Thompson said to MMA Junkie. “Sage Northcutt is a good karate guy but we still have a lot of differences between each other’s style. It’s very difficult to figure out and adapt to once you’re out in the octagon.”
Thompson has visualized how the fight could go repeatedly leading to UFC 205, but the result is the same every single time.
“Every time I visualize this fight (and) I don’t like to make predictions; I will go five rounds, but every time I visualize this fight I get the belt wrapped around my waist and get my hand raised,” Thompson said.
UFC 205 takes place on Saturday, November 12 from Madison Square Garden in New York, New York with Eddie Alvarez and Conor McGregor headlining.
