A lightweight division attraction is the latest addition to the Bellator 202 card as Steve Kozola is going to be in action against Ryan Walker.
Kozola (8-2-0) enters the contest in the midst of a two fight losing streak, having dropped bouts to the duo of Carrington Banks and Jake Smith. Kozola had won eight straight bouts before going on the losing streak, which includes victories in both Bellator MMA and the World Series Of Fighting. Kozola has seen just one of his ten professional MMA fights go the distance and that came against the aforementioned Carrington Banks at Bellator 184.
Walker (7-3-0) is going to be making his Bellator MMA debut in this fight, despite winning just one of the last three entering this contest. Walker has previously challenged for the King Of The Cage Welterweight Title, losing to Ben Egli by fourth round submission at KOTC: Heavy Trauma. Walker had won three of four fights as an amateur MMA fighter, with all of those bouts going the distance.
Bellator 202 takes place on Friday, July 13 from the Winstar World Casino & Resort in Thackerville, Oklahoma with Julia Budd and Talita Nogueira headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on the Paramount Network.
