The One Championship Strawweight Title is going to be defended in the main event of One Championship: Masters Of Fate as Joshua Pacio puts the gold on the line against Rene Catalan.
Pacio (14-3-0) is starting his second reign with the strawweight championship, having defeated Yosuke Saruta to win the gold again at One Championship: Roots Of Honor. Pacio’s first reign with the gold began at One Championship: Conquest Of Heroes, as he defeated Yoshitaka Naito by unanimous decision. Pacio has picked up fourteen wins as a professional MMA fighter and half of those victories came by way of submission.
Catalan (6-2-0-1NC) has spent his entire professional MMA career in One Championship and comes to the bout riding a six fight winning streak. Catalan is getting his first shot at a professional MMA championship, despite having been a pro MMA fighter for over six years. Catalan has seen three of his nine professional MMA bouts go the distance and the fighter won all of those encounters.
