Tevin Farmer: I'm Going To Beat Jono Carroll Up Real Bad

Tevin Farmer had some choice words for his next opponent.

In a recent press conference, Farmer, the IBF super featherweight champion, talked about his upcoming title defense against Jono Carroll. The two are set to fight in the main event of a Matchroom Boxing card streamed on DAZN in Philadelphia on March 15.

As far as what Farmer had to say about Carroll, the IBF champion criticized Carroll for his last fight, which ended in a draw. Farmer added that when the two boxers meet in the ring, he will do his best to beat Carroll up "real bad" in front of Farmer's hometown of Philadelphia.

"You got this fight because I chose you. Nothing else. I just beat your cousin, now I am going to beat you. I am tired of beating your family. Listen, all that sad story about what you have done, you aren?t going to convince Philly. They are with me. I am going to beat you up real bad, right in front of all of Philadelphia. You just got a draw, how did you get a draw? You looked past him, right? You got on Twitter and called me cocky. I?m not," Farmer said.

The fight will be Farmer's third world title defense in the last six months. Farmer's last two title defenses were streamed on DAZN and were against James Tennyson and Francisco Fonseca. The March 15 card will also feature Katie Taylor vs. Rose Volante for the unified WBA, WBO and IBF Female lightweight titles.
