Thiago Santos Calls For Title Bout With Dominick Reyes After Jon Jones Arrest

UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Jon Jones was arrested early Thursday morning, having been charged with aggravated DWI, negligent use of a firearm, possession of an open container, and driving with no proof of insurance.

In light of Jones most recent arrest, light heavyweight contender Thiago Santos has called for the UFC to book a title bout between himself and Dominick Reyes.

Santos called for the bout through Twitter:

Jones holds victories over both Reyes and Santos, as he defeated Santos by split decision at UFC 239, while Jones beat Reyes by unanimous decision at UFC 247.

There has been no word yet from the UFC as to the status of Jones or the light heavyweight title at this time, but Jones is due back in court for a bond arraignment hearing on April 9.
