Three Bouts Set For UFC Fight Night 105

Three bouts have been added to the upcoming UFC Fight Night 105 card as Elias Theodoru faces Cezar Ferreira, Thiago Santos faces Jack Marshman and Alessandro Ricci faces Alvaro Herrera.

Theodorou (12-1-0) has won four of five fights under the UFC banner, with notable wins coming over Sam Alvey and Sheldon Westcott. Theordorou was the middleweight winner of the UFC Ultimate Fighter Nations, he defeated Sheldon Westcott in the finals of the reality show.

Ferreira (11-5-0) will enter the fight riding a three fight winning streak, defeating Anthony Smith, Oluwale Bamgbose and Jack Hermansson. Ferreira was the middleweight winner of the UFC Ultimate Fighter Brazil I, defeating Sergio Moraes in the finals.

Santos (13-5-0) will enter the fight on a two fight losing streak, dropping fights to Eric Spicely and Gegard Mousasi. The aforementioned two fight losing streak is the longest losing streak Santos has ever had since turning pro in 2010.

Marshman (21-5-0) is currently undefeated under the UFC banner, having defeated Magnus Cedenblad at UFC Fight Night 99. Marshman is also a former cage Warriors Middleweight Champion, he relinquished the belt after signing with the UFC this year.

Ricci (10-4-0) is currently winless in UFC competition, having dropped a fight to Jeremy Kennedy at UFC On Fox 21. Ricci has seen his last nine fights go to a decision, it has been nearly five years since one of his bouts didn’t go to the judge’s scorecards.

Herrera (9-4-0) has won just one of two fights under the UFC banner, defeating Vernon Ramos and suffering a defeat to Vincente Luque. Herrera was a cast member on the UFC Ultimate Fighter Latin America II, he lost in the opening round to Hector Aldana.

UFC Fight Night 105 takes place on Sunday, February 19 from the Scotiabank Centre in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada with no headliners announced as of yet.
