The main event is set for Legacy Fighting Alliance 22 and it is going to be for the vacant LFA Middleweight Title as Ian Heinisch takes on Markus Perez Echeimberg.
Heinisch (8-0-0) has already fought once under the LFA banner, defeating Lucas Rota by first round submission at LFA 10. Heinisch is a longtime veteran of the Sparta Combat League, having won all of the six fights he competed in with the promotion. Heinisch also competed once in the World Series Of Fighting, defeating Tyler Vogel by unanimous decision at the WSOF 29.
Echeimberg (8-0-0) is going to be making his LFA debut in this fight and he does so with an undefeated streak that has lasted over four years. Echeimberg is also the current Thunder Fight MMA Middleweight Champion, defeating UFC veteran Paulo Thiago to win the gold earlier this year. Echeimberg is also competing outside of his native Brazil for the first time in his professional MMA career, which began in April of 2013.
Legacy Fighting Alliance 22 takes place on Friday, September 8 from the 1st Bank Arena in Broomfield, Colorado with Ian Heinisch and Markus Perez Echeimberg headlining. Fightful will provide quick results of the event when it is over.
