An Invicta Fighting Championships Bantamweight Title rematch will be headlining Invicta FC 22 as champion Tonya Evinger again defends against Yana Kunitskaya.

Evinger (15-5-0-1NC) will be making the fourth defense of her championship, having successfully defended it against Pannie Kianzad and Colleen Schneider. Evinger initially suffered a submission defeat to Kunitskaya in their first bout at Invicta FC 20, but it was overturned to a no contest by the Missouri Athletic Commission after a referee’s error lead to the submission finish. Evinger is also a former Raging Wolf MMA Women’s Bantamweight Champion, defeating Adrienna Jenkins to win the gold in 2010.

Kunitskaya (9-2-0-1NC) has won seven of her last nine fights, with the most notable win coming over fellow Invicta FC veteran Cindy Dandois. Kunitskaya has earned six of her professional MMA wins by first round finish, all of those finishes came by KO/TKO. Kunitskaya has only earned a single win in the last four years, which came over Yanan Wu at Fightspirit Championship 6 in 2016.

Invicta Fighting Championships 22 takes place on Saturday, March 25 from the Scottish Rite Temple in Kansas City, Missouri with Tonya Evinger and Yana Kunitskaya headlining.
