Tito Ortiz Out Of Retirement, Wants Third Fight With Chuck Liddell

MMA

It would appear that MMA fans are one step closer to seeing a third encounter between former UFC Light Heavyweight Champions Chuck Liddell and Tito Ortiz.

Ortiz, who retired after submitting Chael Sonnen at Bellator 170, has now un-retired and hopes a third fight with his longtime rival materializes.

The announcement would be made by Ortiz through Instagram:

Liddell defeated Ortiz the first two times they fought, with those wins coming at UFC 47 and UFC 66.

If the bout does come together, it would most likely happen under the new Golden Boy MMA promotion started by boxing great Oscar De La Hoya. Liddell would also be returning to action for the first time in over eight years, while Ortiz has been sitting on the sidelines for just over a year now.
