Former UFC Bantamweight Champion TJ Dillashaw was a part of the board during the launch of the Mixed Martial Arts Athletes Association (MMAAA).

It has been many months since the MMAAA came into existence and Dillashaw doesn’t know if the MMAAA is leading him down the right or wrong path.

“I haven’t heard much from it either, so, really I just tend to stay out of it,” T.J Dillashaw said on The MMA Hour. “I don’t know if I was led down the wrong path or what.”

Dillashaw was supposed to challenge Cody Garbrandt for the UFC Bantamweight Title at UFC 213, but the champion pulled out of the fight due to a back injury.

When it is all said and done, the former champion is focused on getting his championship back.

“I’m just kind of keeping my nose to the ground, getting my belt back and worried about that really, you know? ... I have no idea what’s going on. I was told there was something bigger and more into it, but I haven’t heard anything about it, so I don’t really, I can’t really tell you much about it,” says Dillashaw.

Other members on the board during the launch of the MMAAA were former UFC Welterweight Champion Georges St. Pierre, former UFC Heavyweight Champion Cain Velasquez, Donald Cerrone and the now retired Tim Kennedy.
