TJ Dillashaw Says UFC Is Hinting At Super Fight Against Henry Cejudo

MMA

UFC Flyweight Champion Henry Cejudo won the gold with a split decision win over Demetrious Johnson at UFC 227 and would then proceed to call out UFC Bantamweight Champion TJ Dillashaw after the fight.

Dillashaw says that nothing is set in stone for a potential super fight, but does admit that the UFC is hinting towards that happening.

?There?s been nothing serious but there?s been hints and we did our media tour together and they put us on camera together and had us talk s**t to each other,? Dillashaw said on The Joe Rogan Experience MMA Show. ?They didn?t say that because everything is real but it?s like, ? Oh s**t, this is what you guys want! Okay, you really think you can beat me? Then f**k you man, let?s do this s**t!??

The bantamweight champion had called out former UFC Flyweight Champion Demetrious Johnson for a super fight for awhile, but the bout never came to fruition.

If the super fight does come together with Cejudo, one thing Dillashaw doesn?t want is for Cejudo to make any excuses about the outcome.

?Hell yeah! [At] 125, absolutely,? Dillashaw said. ?I don?t want no excuses that I?m the bigger man. He told me face to face he?s willing to do it at 125. That?s what he first said after the fight. He wanted the superfight, so he said he?d come up to 135. I said, ?If we?re doing this, I?m coming down to 125? and he said he had no problem with that.?

There is no word as to when the potential super fight could happen, but the UFC 230 event is the only pay-per-view event left on the 2018 calendar without a headlining fight set yet.
