Former UFC Bantamweight Champion TJ Dillashaw has been campaigning alongside UFC President Dana White to fight Demetrious Johnson for the UFC Flyweight Title.
Dillashaw has already called out the flyweight kingpin for an opportunity at the gold.
However, the fighter has now taken to Instagram in an attempt to get the champions attention:
The former bantamweight champion was set to face the current champion in Cody Garbrandt at UFC 213, but Garbrandt pulled out of the fight due to a back injury.
Johnson has remained steadfast thus far in defiance when it comes to face Dillashaw, despite the fact that Dana White even called Johnson insane for turning down the opportunity.
If the fight were to come together, two different kinds of UFC history could potentially happen at the fight. Either Dillashaw would become one of a handful of fighters to win gold in two different weight classes in the UFC or Johnson would break the most successful title defense record.
