TKO Promotion Releases Fighter For Falsifying Record

MMA

The TKO MMA promotion out of Canada has released fighter Christ Franck for falsifying his records, he increased his record from 5-7-0 to 9-7-0.

According to a statement issued by the promotion (which can be read below), Franck claimed that he competed in a non-existent MMA tournament in Africa called the African Warriors Championship, where he won four tournament fights.

Interestingly enough, the promotion is not only a non-existent one, but the four fighters he supposedly defeated are either fighters who have been inactive for a longtime or simply fighters that Franck created.

Here is the statement that was issued by TKO MMA:

“The TKO organization has been informed today of a very serious situation involving Mr. Christ Franck. He has committed an irreparable gesture and he, and his team, have been informed that his recently signed TKO contract has been terminated…The false and fraudulent declarations made by Mr. Frank in regards to his last four fights in Africa (that in reality never took place) are a shame to our sport. This is a first in the history of MMA and we hope that this type of situation never happens again. Both Sherdog (.com) and Tapology (.com) have also been misled as these events never took place.”

Franck had not competed in an MMA fight of any kind since April 9th of this year, he has yet to issue any kind of statement on the situation.

TKO MMA will be debuting on UFC Fight Pass on Saturday, November 4th, the card has yet to be announced by the promotion.
