Heavyweight competitor Todd Duffee hasn’t been seen in the Octagon since getting knocked out by former UFC Heavyweight Champion Frank Mir at UFC Fight Night 71 almost two years ago.
However, the fighter is now healing from shoulder surgery and plans on returning to action in the later portion of this year.
Duffee took to Instagram to update the fans on his future plans:
When you hit him with that Parsonage Turner. ..... I know it doesn't make sense to you but it felt so sweet to me. ..... I am 7 weeks post shoulder surgery. This picture is the moment I came back from a nerve condition on the hand I hit him with. This picture is music to my rehab motivation. I am really excited and focused on finishing this rehab to find myself back in the cage smacking people. I want to thank everyone who has helped me along with the surgery process. I am up and moving again focused on finishing rehab to fight in November. Thank you all for the support.
The fighter currently holds a 3-2-0 record under the UFC banner (9-3-0 overall), with those victories coming over Tim Hague, Philip De Fries and Anthony Hamilton.
There isn’t any UFC events announced for November at this time.
