I guess we can mark the WWE transitions to the UFC at 0-2 over the past year.
Todd Grisham has taken over play-by-play duties on UFC broadcasts on FS1 and select Fight Pass events, but his absolute butchering of UFC Hall of Famer Kazushi Sakuraba's name Saturday night drew him the ire of fans around the world. Check out his pronunciation of the legend's name during the TUF Redemption Finale.
Yikes.
Sakuraba was inducted into the UFC Hall of Fame 24 hours before the monumental botch. Grisham was known to have difficulty with Japanese names on a few WWE DVD releases as well.
Twitter didn't treat Grisham too well.
