Tony Ferguson Calls Out Conor McGregor, Gets Brushed Off

Former UFC Interim Lightweight Champion Tony Ferguson recently turned down the opportunity to fight UFC Featherweight Champion max Holloway for the vacant UFC Interim Lightweight Title at UFC 236.

Ferguson apparently has his sights set on former two division UFC champion Conor McGregor, whom Ferguson referred to as “No Sauce Mcnuggets” in a recent call out on Twitter:

McGregor, who is still serving a suspension in regards to the UFC 229 post-fight brawl, would give Ferguson the following reply on Twitter:

 

The winner of the aforementioned interim lightweight title fight is theoretically next for UFC Lightweight Champion Khabib Nurmagomedov, leaving both McGregor and Ferguson out of the title picture for the time being.
