Tonya Evinger Faces Lina Lansberg At UFC Fight Night Stockholm


A women’s bantamweight division attraction has been added to UFC Fight Night Stockholm according to the UFC Europe Twitter page as #11 Tonya Evinger is in action against #13 Lina Lansberg.

Evinger (19-7-0-1NC) is currently winless under the UFC banner, dropping bouts to the duo of Cyborg and Aspen Ladd. Evinger is a former Invicta FC Bantamweight Champion, defeating Irene Aldana to win the gold at Invicta FC 13. Evinger is competing on a Fight Night card for the first time in her UFC tenure, as Evinger has previously competed on just pay-per-view events.

Lansberg (8-4-0) has rotated wins and losses throughout her UFC run, with the last fight being a loss to Yana Kunitskaya at UFC 229. Lansberg has picked up eight wins as a professional MMA fighter, with four coming by KO/TKO and the other four coming by way of submission. Lansberg has competed twelve times as a professional MMA fighter and none of her bouts have ended by way of submission.

UFC Fight Night Stockholm takes place on Saturday, June 1 from the Ericsson Globe in Stockholm, Sweden with Alexander Gustafsson and Anthony Smith headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on ESPN+.
