A flyweight division attraction is the latest addition to the UFC On Fox 26 card as #9 Tim Elliott is going to be in the Octagon against Justin Scoggins.
Elliott (14-8-1) has won just one of three during his second run with the UFC, that lone win came over Louis Smolka at UFC On Fox 24. Elliott has challenged for the UFC Flyweight Title, losing to current champion Demetrious Johnson by unanimous decision at the UFC Ultimate Fighter 24 Finale. Elliott is also a former Titan Fighting Championships Flyweight Champion, defeating Iliarde Santos at Titan FC 34 to win the gold.
Scoggins (11-4-0) enters the fight riding a two fight losing streak, having dropped fights to the duo of Pedro Munhoz and Yuta Sasaki. Scoggins went 4-2-0 during his first stint at flyweight in the UFC, but he moved up to bantamweight for a short time after missing weight multiple times at 125 pounds. Scoggins last win in the flyweight division came over Ray Borg at UFC Fight Night 82, it has been over a year since he competed in the division.
UFC On Fox 26 takes place on Saturday, December 16 from the MTS Centre in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada with no main event announced at this time. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on Fox.
