A clash of top 15 light heavyweights have been added to the UFC 215 card as #9 Ilir Latifi is going to be in action against #12 Tyson Pedro.
Latifi (12-5-0-1NC) has won three of his last four under the UFC banner, those three wins came over Hans Stringer, Sean O’Connell and Gian Villante. Latifi is also returning to action after a year-plus layoff, with his last bout being a loss to Bellator MMA Light Heavyweight Champion Ryan Bader at UFC Fight Night 93. Latifi has fought all but one of his UFC bouts on “Fight Night” cards, his lone pay-per-view appearance came at UFC 196 in March 2016.
Pedro (6-0-0) has already competed twice thus far in the UFC, having defeated the duo of Khalil Rountree and Paul Craig. Pedro has seen all six of his professional MMA fights end within the opening round, with his longest fought barely going over four minutes. Pedro also competed twice in the Australian Fighting Championships, defeating Don Endermann and Steven Warby.
