Top Rank has announced a number of fighters taking part in the June 15 card headlined by Tyson Fury's debut for the company.
In the co-main event, which alongside Fury's fight against Tom Schwarz will be streamed on ESPN+ in the United States, Sullivan Barrera will take on Jesse Hart who is moving up from super middleweight to light heavyweight.
This will be Barrera’s first fight since signing a promotional deal with Top Rank. Barrera previously challenged for the WBA light heavyweight title back in 2018 when he was stopped by Dmitry Bivol. Since then, Barrera has fought just once which was a 10-round decision win against Seanie Monaghan back in November.
Hart last fought at super middleweight this past December when he unsuccessfully challenged for Gilberto Ramirez’s WBO title. It was Hart’s second failed attempt at beating Ramirez for the WBO 168-pound title.
Although the aforementioned two fights will be on ESPN+, the undercard will be televised on ESPN2. In the main event of the ESPN2 portion of the card, unbeaten rising contender Mikaela Mayer will face former title challenger Lizbeth Crespo.
Mayer has won all 10 of her pro bouts and captured the NABF super featherweight title last year when she defeated Vanessa Bradford by unanimous decision. Crespo is coming off a win against Marisa Gabriela Nunez in February and once fought for the IBF featherweight title back in early 2018, losing a 10-round decision against Jennifer Han.
Also announced for the ESPN2 undercard are the following boxers competing in separate bouts: Guido Vianello, Isaac Lowe, Cem Kilic, Sonny Conto and Peter Kadiru.
