- Hall of Fame boxer Roberto Duran has tested positive for COVID-19 and remains in a hospital in Panama City, Panama, where he was admitted due to a viral infection. His son Robin Duran noted on Instagram that Roberto is under watch but he is not in intensive care.

- FIGHTNIGHT LIVE is doing a $5 PPV boxing card (10 fights) on July 11 in Houston, Texas with no crowd. Fights announced: Raphael Igbokwe vs. James De la Rosa, Danielle Perkins vs. Monika Harrison, Jarrod Tennant, Eridson Garcia, Robert Redmond, more in action.

- Light flyweight boxer Kim Clavel, who won the 2020 Pat Tillman Award for Service at the ESPYs, will fight on the July 21 Top Rank on ESPN card from Las Vegas. Clavel took a hiatus from the ring in March to return to work as a nurse at elder care facilities in Montreal.

- According to Mike Coppinger, Ivan Baranchyk is injured and won't fight Jose Zepeda on July 7. He also reports that there is optimism the fight can be rescheduled for later in July.

- Ronnie Shields, Joe Goossen, Robert Garcia, Derrick James and Herman Caicedo will be on PBC social media platforms starting next week.

- PBC will stream the entire card headlined by Adonis Stevenson vs. Thomas Williams Jr. for the WBC Light Heavyweight Title that aired on Spike on July 29, 2016 on PBC's YouTube channel on June 27.
