The finals have been set for the UFC Ultimate Fighter 25 Finale as Dhiego Lima is taking on Jesse Taylor.
Lima (12-5-0) earned his spot in the finals by defeating Hayder Hassan, Gilbert Smith and Tom Gallicchio on the reality show. Lima was also a finalist on the UFC Ultimate Fighter 19, but would lose to Eddie Gordon in those finals.
Taylor (30-15-0) punched his ticket to the finals when he defeated the trio of Mehdi Baghdad, Hayder Hassan and James Krause. Taylor would have been a finalist on the UFC Ultimate Fighter 7, but was pulled from the finals by UFC President Dana White due to his antics outside of the TUF House that saw him kick in a rented limo window.
There has also been one more fight added to the card as James Krause is going to be in action against Tom Gallicchio.
Krause (23-7-0) made it to the semi-finals of the UFC Ultimate Fighter 25, but was submitted in the third round by Jesse Taylor. Krause has also won a total of four fights in the UFC, last defeating Shane Campbell at UFC Fight Night 83.
Gallicchio (19-9-0) also made it to the semi-finals of the UFC Ultimate Fighter 25, but was ultimately defeated by Dhiego Lima. Gallicchio is making his UFC debut in this fight and this is going to be his first professional MMA fight in over a year.
UFC Ultimate Fighter 25 Finale takes place on Friday, July 7 from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada with Justin Gaethje and Michael Johnson headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on Fox Sports 1.
