Only two lightweight fighters are left in the UFC Ultimate Fighter 27 reality show and they will collide at the TUF 27 Finale as Joe Giannetti faces Mike Trizano.
Giannetti (6-0-0) earned his way to the finals of the reality show with victories over Richie Smullen and Allan Zuniga. Giannetti had previously competed in the Cage Titans FC promotion before joining TUF, earning five victories by way of submission. Giannetti has seen just one of his six professional MMA fights go the distance and that came against Vince McGuinness at Cage Titans FC 34.
Trizano (6-0-0) punched himself a path to the finals of the reality show by picking up victories over the duo of Jonathan Gunther and Thailand Clark. Trizano also competed once under the Bellator MMA banner, defeating Mike Otwell by second round submission at Bellator 186. Trizano also picked up a total of four wins under the Ring Of Combat banner, with two of those wins coming by way of decision.
UFC Ultimate Fighter 27 Finale takes place on Friday, July 6 from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada with Brad Tavares and Israel Adesanya headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on Fox Sports 1.
