UFC Ultimate Fighter 16 & 25 alumni Julian Lane has been sentenced to thirty days in prison after recently being arrested for a DWI (driving while intoxicated).

TMZ Sports is reporting that Lane was arrested this past October in Mansfield, Ohio after police found him asleep at the wheel of his car, which was stopped at an intersection.

Besides finding an asleep Lane in the car, other items such as beer cans and a bag of weed were found on the passenger side of the vehicle.

Authorities charged Lane with a total of three misdemeanors, which were a DWI, driving with a suspended license and possession of marijuana.

The DWI charge would be lessened by the authorities after Lane was not found by police driving the vehicle, as he was already asleep when discovered.

Lane is supposed to report to prison for his sentence on April 4 and will get released on May 4, pending any other legal issues from arising.

Due to the arrest, a bout Lane was supposed to fight at Ring Of Combat 62 on March 2 was canned, although no official reason was given by the promotion as to why the fight was canceled. Lane has found the majority of his professional MMA success in the CES MMA promotion, where he is a former CES MMA Lightweight Champion.
