There are two late additions to next month’s UFC 209 card as Andre Soukhamthath takes on Albert Morales and Cynthia Calvillo takes on Amanda Cooper.
Soukhamthath (11-3-0) will be making his UFC debut in this fight and he is the current CES MMA Bantamweight Champion. Soukhamthath has fought all but one of his professional MMA fights in the CES MMA promotion and he enters the fight on a three fight winning streak.
Morales (6-1-1) is currently winless under the UFC banner, dropping a fight to Thomas Almeida and fighting Alejandro Perez to a draw. Morales also competed once under the World Series Of Fighting banner defeating Anthony Paredes at the WSOF 28.
Calvillo (3-0-0) will be making her UFC debut in this fight and she did defeat Invicta Fighting Championships veteran Aspen Ladd during her time as an amateur. Calvillo fought on the inaugural Legacy Fighting Alliance event, defeating Montana Stewart by third round TKO.
Cooper (2-2-0) has won just one of two fights under the UFC banner, defeating Anna Elmose and suffering a defeat to Tatiana Suarez. Cooper made it to the finals of the UFC Ultimate Fighter 23, losing to the aforementioned Tatiana Suarez by first round submission.
UFC 209 takes place on Saturday, March 4 from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada with Tyron Woodley and Stephen Thompson headlining.
