Two Fights & One Replacement Fighter Added To Invicta FC 26

A pair of fights have been added to the Invicta Fighting Championships 26 card as Virna Jandiroba faces Amy Montenegro and Amber Brown faces Tessa Simpson.

Also, Milana Dudieva has agreed to replace the UFC bound Jessica-Rose Clark against Vanessa Porto.

Jandiroba (11-0-0) is making her Invicta FC debut in this fight and does so with an undefeated streak that has lasted over four years. Jandiroba has defeated a pair of UFC veterans in her MMA career, those UFC veterans are Lisa Ellis and Ericka Almeida.

Montenegro (8-2-0) has won two of three bouts under the Invicta FC banner, last defeating Celine Haga at Invicta FC 21. Montenegro is also the current Super Fight League Women’s Strawweight Champion, defeating Glena Avila to win the belt in 2015.

Brown (6-4-0) enters the fight riding a three bout losing streak and she hasn’t earned a victory in just under two years. Brown has previously challenged for the Invicta FC Atomweight Title, losing to Ayaka Hamasaki at Invicta FC 16.

Simpson (5-2-0) has won just one of two in the Invicta FC promotion and that lone win came over Simona Soukupova at Invicta FC 18. Simpson has only competed a total of three times in the last four years and she holds a 2-1-0 record in those fights.

Porto (18-8-0) enters the fight riding a two fight losing streak and she hasn’t gotten a victory in over two years. Porto has previously fought for the Invicta FC Flyweight Title, losing to current champion Jennifer Maia at Invicta FC 16 and Barb Honchak at Invicta FC 5.

Dudieva (11-6-0) enters the fight on a three fight losing streak and the last time she picked a win was in August of 2014. Dudieva also won just one of three bouts under the UFC banner and that lone victory came over Elizabeth Phillips at UFC Fight Night 48.

Invicta FC 26 takes place on Friday, December 8 from the Scottish Rite Temple in Kansas City, Missouri with Jennifer Maia and Agnieszka Niedzwiedz headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on UFC Fight Pass.
