UFC welterweight (soon to be middleweight) Kelvin Gastelum monumentally missed weight ahead of his UFC 205 fight with Donald Cerrone. The fight itself was canceled, sending the MMA world into a spin. Cerrone is notorious for being willing to fight anywhere asked, and a couple of names stepped up to answer the call.
As you may have heard us talk about on the Fightful.com Podcast, UFC veteran Gerald Harris has been angling for a return to the company for months. The former UFC Middleweight says he can make 171 pounds with ease tonight, and has a victory over two-division WSOF champion Dave Branch. Harris is booked to make his return at next month's Legacy show, but says it wouldn't interfere with his plans.
Jorge Masvidal was actually set to fight Gastelum, but was pulled from the bout in order to put in Cerrone. He commented, saying that he'd take the fight tomorrow. Masvidal is 5-3 in his last 8, but all three losses were split decisions.
Fightful.com will keep you abreast of any changes to the card.
