A pair of title bouts will headline the upcoming One Championship: Roots Of Honor card as Martin Nguyen defends the featherweight gold against Narantungalag Jadambaa and Yosuke Saruta defends the strawweight gold against Joshua Pacio.

Nguyen (11-3-0) is going to be making the first defense of the championship, having defeated Christian Lee to win the gold at One Championship: Unstoppable Dreams. Nguyen has seen his last three fights go the distance and it has been over a year since the fighter got a finish.

Jadambaa (14-5-0) enters the contest while in the midst of a two fight winning streak, defeating the duo of Kazuki Tokudome and Edward Kelly. Jadambaa is a former One Featherweight Champion, defeating Koji Oishi to win the gold at One FC 19.

Saruta (19-8-3) is making the first defense of the title, defeating Joshua Pacio in their first encounter at One Championship: Eternal Glory to win the gold. Saruta has picked up nineteen wins as a professional MMA fighter and twelve of them have come by way of decision.

Pacio (13-3-0) is competing for the first time since the loss to Saruta, which came just over a month ago. Pacio became the strawweight champion himself at One Championship: Conquest Of Heroes, defeating Yoshitaka Naito to win the strap.

One Championship: Roots Of Honor takes place on Friday, April 12 from the Mall Of Asia Arena in Manila, Philippines with Martin Nguyen and Narantungalag Jadambaa headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on Bleacher Report Live.
