Tyron Woodley A Minor Favorite Over Kamaru Usman In UFC 235 Co-Main Event

MMA

UFC Welterweight Champion Tyron Woodley is expected to defend the championship against #2 ranked Kamaru Usman in the co-main event of UFC 235.

Best Fight Odds have released their opening betting lines for the title fight and Woodley is listed as a -170 favorite against the +130 underdog in Usman. That would mean that a bet of $170 for Woodley would net a gambler $100 profit if the champion wins, while a $100 wager for Usman would bring in a profit of $130.

It should be noted that the odds for the bout will change multiple times up until the bell rings to start the bout itself. Since betting lines opened approximately twenty four hours ago, bets for Usman have dropped 6% and they have risen 6% for Woodley according to Best Fight Odds.

Woodley is scheduled to be making his fifth title defense at UFC 235, while Usman is challenging for a championship for the first time as a professional MMA fighter.

UFC 235 takes place on Saturday, March 2 from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada with Jon Jones and Anthony Smith potentially headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, with a post-show podcast to follow.
