Tyrone McKenna vs. Darragh Foley To Headline MTK Global Card On ESPN+ In June

ESPN+ has added another MTK Global card to its roster of boxing events in the coming months.

MTK Global announced that it will have a boxing card on June 21 at Ulster Hall in Belfast, Northern Ireland. In the main event of that card is Tyrone McKenna taking on Darragh Foley.

McKenna is on a two-fight win streak since suffering his first pro loss against Jack Catterall in June 2018. The 29-year-old McKenna has previously held the BUI Celtic junior welterweight title and sports an 18-1-1 record. McKenna last fought on March 29 when he won a six-round decision against Oscar Amador.

Foley has held a number of regional titles from the WBA, WBO and WBC at 140 pounds. Foley, who has a 17-3-1 pro record, has already fought twice this year. The first fight took place in February when he won a four-round decision against Wellem Reyk and then a fourth-round knockout win against Rusmin Kie Raha on March 22.

This isn't the first show taking place at Ulster Hall on ESPN+. On May 17, the streaming platform will also show a card that will feature former unified bantamweight champion Ryan Burnett in action against Jelbirt Gomera for the WBC International super bantamweight title. That card will also feature Marco McCullough vs. Declan Geraghty for the IBF European super featherweight title.
