Tyson Griffin Mocks Jon Jones & Conor McGregor On Twitter, Jones Replies

MMA

UFC veteran Tyson Griffin hasn’t competed since suffering a unanimous decision loss to Luiz Firmino at the World Series Of Fighting 10 in June 2014.

Despite not having fought in nearly four years, one thing Griffin has decided to do was to take some shots on Twitter at former UFC Lightweight Champion Conor McGregor and former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Jon Jones.

McGregor was recently involved in some controversy after he and some pals stormed a bus full of UFC fighters a few days before UFC 223, allegedly trying to get at UFC Lightweight Champion Khabib Nurmagomedov.

While McGregor hasn’t responded to Griffin at this time, it didn’t stop Jones from taking some shots at Griffin through the social media channel.

Jones has been under a lot of scrutiny since failing a drug test in line with UFC 214 and the former champion is still awaiting punishment from the United States Anti-Doping Agency (USADA).

Following the initial series of tweets between the two MMA stars, a new series of tweets from Griffin showing a text message exchange between the two a few years back would start things all over again.

It would appear that the ever growing war between the former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion and Tyson Griffin is far from over.
