UFC 226 Weigh-In Results, Chiesa Comes In Heavy

The UFC 226 weigh-ins are in the books and with the exception of one fighter, all competitors made weight for tomorrow nights card. Michael Chiesa came in at 157.5 pounds for a lightweight division affair against Anthony Pettis, it is unknown at this time if the fight will go on, as ESPN’s Ariel Helwani says negotiations are on going.

Chiesa announced after the failed weigh-in that he’ll be moving up to welterweight, starting immediately after UFC 226.

“That’s it,” Chiesa said to the media during the weigh-ins. “This will be my last fight at 155.”
