It was an exciting night of fights at UFC 228 from Dallas, Texas. Headlined by a Welterweight Title fight between Tyron Woodley and Darren Till, UFC 228 drew 14,073 fans for a gate of $1.7 million.

The last time the UFC was at the American Airlines Arena was for UFC 221 headlined by a Heavyweight Title fight between Stipe Miocic and Junior dos Santos. This is Aldana's second Fight of the Night bonus. Her previous one came in December 2016 against Leslie Smith. This marks the first time Pudilová has won the award.
