The UFC held its first event since March 14 with UFC 249 taking place in front of no fans in Jacksonville, FL.
Despite no attendance, the fighters went out there and did their jobs with four fighters taking home some extra money for their performances.
Justin Gaethje cleaned up, taking home a Fight of the Night bonus and Performance of the Night bonus, cool $100,000 extra for his performance against Tony Ferguson. Gaethje won the interim UFC Lightweight Title at UFC 249, stopping Ferguson late in the fifth round and battering him for nearly 25-minutes with powerful punches and kicks. Ferguson also took home an extra $50,000 for his role in the main event.
The other Performance of the Night bonus went to Francis Ngannou for his 20-second KO over Jairzinho Rozenstruik. Ngannou blasted Rozenstruik with a left hand and a series of follow-up punches, leaving Rozenstruik out cold.
