UFC Announces 9 Events For First Quarter 2018: Boston, Australia, Brazil, More

Although there are still several big events left for the UFC in 2017, that didn’t stop the promotion from announcing the first 9 events for 2018.

Here are those nine events:

Sunday, Jan. 14 - UFC Fight Night St. Louis - Scottrade Center in St. Louis, Mo.

Saturday, Jan. 20 - UFC 220 - TD Garden in Boston, Mass.

Saturday, Jan. 27 - UFC Fight Night Charlotte - Spectrum Center in Charlotte, N.C.

Saturday, Feb. 3 - UFC Fight Night Belem - Mangueirinho Arena in Belem, Brazil

Saturday, Feb. 10 - UFC 221 - Perth Arena in Perth, Australia

Sunday, Feb. 18 - UFC Fight Night Austin - Frank Erwin Center in Austin, Texas

Saturday, Feb. 24 - UFC Fight Night Orlando - Amway Center in Orlando, Fla.

Saturday, March 3 - UFC 222 - T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nev.

Saturday, March 17 - UFC Fight Night London - O2 Arena in London, England

Thus far, there is only one fight announced for any of these events, which is a lightweight division bout between Gleison Tibau and Islam Makhachev at UFC 220.

Former UFC Middleweight Champion Michael Bisping also said after UFC 217 that he would like to compete at UFC Fight Night London this March, although that is far from confirmed at this point.

Up next for the promotion in 2017 is UFC Fight Night Norfolk on Saturday, November 11 with Dustin Poirier and Anthony Pettis headlining.
