Two heavyweight monsters will wage a bone-crushing war on Halloween eve.
Former NFL star Greg Hardy (6-2) has been linked to a fight with "The Crochet Boss" Maurice Greene (9-4). A source confirmed the booking to Fightful following an initial report by MMA Junkie. The UFC is expected to hold an event on October 31 but the details are few and far between.
Hardy looks to build on the success of his last win over Yorgan De Castro at UFC 249. Green is also in search of a second consecutive win after dispatching Gian Villante with a modified choke from bottom in June. Hardy is 3-2 thus far in his UFC tenure and Greene favors slightly better with a 4-2 promotional run.
The UFC card on October 31 has no confirmed headliner, location or venue. A fight between Dustin Jacoby vs. Justin Ledet is also expected to appear on the card.
