UFC Fight Night 107 has it’s main event and it is going to be taking place in the middleweight division as #9 Vitor Belfort is in action against #10 Kelvin Gastelum.
Belfort (25-13-0) has only won just one of his last four fights, defeating Dan Henderson, while suffering defeats to the trio of Chris Weidman, Ronaldo Souza and Gegard Mousasi. Belfort is a former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion, he defeated Randy Couture to win the championship at UFC 46. Belfort has gone 0-3-0 in title fights since winning the light heavyweight title, dropping title fights to Jon Jones, Chris Weidman and Anderson Silva.
Gastelum (13-2-0) has been undefeated as a middleweight under the UFC banner, defeating Nate Marquardt and Tim Kennedy. Gastelum was the winner of the UFC Ultimate Fighter 17, where he defeated Uriah Hall in the finals of the reality show. Gatselum also earned a victory over former UFC Welterweight Champion Johny Hendricks, that win took place at UFC 200 in July of 2016.
UFC Fight Night 107 takes place on Saturday, March 11 from the Centro De Formacao Olimpica Do Nordeste in Forteleza, Brazil with Vitor Belfort and Kelvin Gastelum headlining, the main card is airing on Fox Sports 1.
