A new UFC Flyweight Champion was crowned last night in the main event of UFC Fight Night: Figueiredo vs. Benavidez II as Deiveson Figueiredo defeated Joseph Benavidez by second round submission to claim the once vacant title.

However, outside of a new title being awarded to Figueiredo last night, a total amount of $200,000 in bonus money was handed out to four fighters who participated in last nights card.

The newly crowned UFC Flyweight Champion in Figueiredo and Ariane Lipski (who defeated Luana Carolina by first round submission) were awarded $50,000 each for Performance Of The Night. The duo of Rafael Fiziev and Marc Diakiese were also awarded $50,000 each, but they got it for Fight Of The Night.

That would mean that a total of $200,000 was handed out in bonus money, which is the norm for the majority of UFC events.

Up next for the UFC is UFC Fight Night: Whittaker vs. Till, which takes place this Saturday Night and is going to be headlined by former UFC Middleweight Champion Robert Whittaker facing Darren Till.
