UFC Fight Night Norfolk Live Gate, Attendance & Bonuses

This past Saturday Night, MMA fans were treated to UFC Fight Night Norfolk, which was headlined by Deiveson Figueiredo defeating Joseph Benavidez by second round TKO.

While the event wasn’t a sell out, a total of 7.098 people attended the action packed event from the Chartway Arena in Norfolk, Virginia. That 7,000-plus people brought in a total gate of $402,958, meaning an average $56.77 was paid per ticket for the event.

Bonus money was also handed out for those competing at UFC Fight Night Norfolk, with Gabriel Silva and Kyler Phillips picking up $50,000 each for Fight Of The Night. Two Performance Of The Night bonuses were handed out as well, with Jordan Griffin (who defeated TJ Brown) and Megan Anderson (who defeated Norma Dumont) picking up $50,000 each. A total of $200,000 in bonus money was handed out for the event, which is the norm for the majority of UFC events. Figueiredo and Grant Dawson were ineligible for bonuses, as both fighters missed weight for the card.

Up next for the UFC is UFC 248, which features UFC Middleweight Champion Israel Adesanya defending against Yoel Romero in the main event.
