UFC Fight Night St. Louis Draws Big Ratings

The UFC kicked off 2018 with UFC Fight Night St. Louis, which saw Jeremy Stephens and Dooho Choi compete in the main event.

Despite the show losing the co-main event bout between former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Vitor Belfort and Uriah Hall, big ratings were still drawn on Sunday Night.

A total of 1,285,000 viewers checked out the main card, making it the most watched card since a February 2016 UFC Fight Night event headlined by former UFC Welterweight Champion Johny Hendricks and Stephen Thompson. The main card was also watched online through Fox Sports Go and Fox Now, drawing an additional 14,244 viewers.

It was the main event bout between Stephens and Choi that drew the most viewers, with 1,317,000 people checking out the featherweight encounter.

There was also a four fight preliminary card with James Krause and Alex White in the featured spot that drew a total of 1,079,000 viewers. The preliminary card was also streamed online via Fox Sports Go and Fox Now, bringing in an additional 21,982 viewers.

Fox Sports 1 also aired the pre-fight show that drew 147,000 viewers, while the post-fight show drew 342,000 viewers.

Up next for the UFC is the four fight preliminary card for UFC 220 on Fox Sports 1, with Kyle Bochniak and Brandon Davis in the featured spot.
