UFC Fight Night Utica Ratings Are In

The MMA world was treated to a rare Friday Night event from the UFC in the form of UFC Fight Night Utica.

Fox Sports 1 aired the live event, which brought in an average of 517,000 viewers, with Marlon Moraes scoring a first round knockout win over Jimmie Rivera in the main event. The show also streamed live on Fox Now and Fox Sports Go, bringing in another 5,809 viewers to the event.

Other fights on the main card saw Gregor Gillespie defeat Vinc Pichel, Walt Harris defeat Daniel Spitz, Ben Saunders defeat Jake Ellenberger, Julio Arce defeat Daniel Teymur and Sam Alvey defeat Gian Villante.

It was the opening main card fight between Alvey and Villante that brought in the most viewers, with 593,000 people checking out the light heavyweight division affair.

A four fight preliminary card also aired live on Fox Sports 1, bringing in a total of 322,000 viewers, a bout between Sijara Eubanks and Lauren Murphy occupied the featured spot. Other fights on that portion of the preliminary card saw David Teymur defeat Nik Lentz, Belal Muhammad defeat Chance Rencountre and Desmond Green defeat Gleison Tibau.

Those fights also streamed live on Fox Now and Fox Sports Go, bringing in another 6,685 viewers. There was also a post-fight show that aired live on Fox Sports 1, which brought in a total of 181,000 viewers.

Up next for the UFC is the four fight UFC 225 preliminary card, which airs on Fox Sports 1 with Alistair Overeem and Curtis Blaydes in the featured spot.
