UFC Fight Pass is adding more boxing to its growing schedule of fight cards for the next couple of years.
The streaming service announced a new multi-year broadcast partnership with New England promotion Murphys Boxing. The boxing company becomes the latest to sign a long-term deal with UFC after Roy Jones Jr. Boxing Promotions signed a deal late last year to have up to 72 boxing cards be streamed over the next three years.
The promotion will make its Fight Pass debut on a previously-announced boxing card on May 10 from Springfield, Massachusetts. The 10-round main event is Abraham Nova vs. Mario Ezequiel Sayal Lozano for the NABA super featherweight title.
Nova won the NABA title last November and has won all 14 of his pro bouts. The 25-year-old Nova fought five times in 2018, winning two of those fights by knockout. Lozano, boxer from Argentina who sports an 18-2-1 record, last fought in February when he was knocked out by Pablo Manuel Ojeda with the WBO Latino super featherweight title on the line.
NABF Jr. featherweight titleholder William Foster III will also fight on the card in an eight-round bout against Ramon Esperanza. Foster sports a 9-0 record with one no contest and is coming off an eight-round unanimous decision win against Angel Suarez back in January.
Other fights on the card include a middleweight bout between unbeaten prospect Carlos Gongora and Damien Ezequiel Bonelli and a welterweight fight between Luis Arcon Diaz and Jose Aubel. Prospects James Perella, Ray Jay Bermudez and DJ Whitley are also scheduled to fight on the card.
