UFC Fight Pass To Stream WBO International Featherweight Title Bout

UFC Fight Pass is set to stream its next boxing card at the end of the month.

Ray Ximenez Jr. will fight Luis Alberto Lopez for the vacant WBO International featherweight title in the main event of a boxing card from the Event Center at Legends Casino Hotel in Toppenish, Washington on February 28.

Ximenez is currently riding a five-fight win streak since suffering the only defeat of his pro career which was a unanimous decision loss to former world title challenger Christopher Diaz in 2016. Ximenez sports an 18-1 record as a pro. Lopez has won his last four fights since losing a split decision to Abraham Montoya in March 2018. Three of Lopez's last four wins came via TKO.

Several other fights were announced for the card, although the UFC Fight Pass lineup has not been unveiled. The UFC Fight Pass portion of the card will start at 10 p.m. ET. Below are the rest of the fights announced:

  • John Peak vs. Juan Jackson: Light heavyweight bout
  • Shae Green vs. Gerardo Esquivel: Junior welterweight bout
  • Taylor Shirley vs. Luis Iniguez: Light heavyweight bout
  • Roman Avetisyan vs. Alex Cazac: Light heavyweight bout
  • Antonio Neal vs. Nicholas Jefferson: Welterweight bout

The card is the third to be streamed on Fight Pass since UFC and Roy Jones Jr. Boxing Promotions signed an exclusive broadcast deal. The first boxing card under the new deal took place on January 31 with Aston Palicte defeating Jose Martinez in a WBO super flyweight title eliminator.
