UFC Fighter Vinc Pichel Injured In Hit & Run Accident

UFC fighter Vinc Pichel was last seen in action at UFC Fight Night Utica, suffering a submission loss to Gregor Gillespie.

The time since that bout has apparently been unkind to the fighter, who was recently the victim of a hit and run accident while riding a motorcycle.

So I was involved in a hit and run accident last Sunday on my harley and spent most of the day in the ER. I don’t know exactly what happened I just know I was clipped from the back and thrown off of my bike Several feet without any time to react. My back is fully road rashed along with my knees, forearms and I have stitches in my left elbow and I can barely move but other then that I’m ok

A recovering Pichel said that his back, knees and forearms have been “road rashed,” while there are stitches in his left elbow and movement is limited in that area as well. Pichel doesn’t have another fight scheduled at the moment and it is unknown just how long these injuries will keep the fighter out of action.

There is no word if the person who caused the accident has been found by the authorities or if any legal action is going to be taking place.
